Giving Back

Giving Back to Families and Communities

We’ve chosen two groups we feel help communities in ways that mean a lot to us.

Carry the Lantern…Freedom Isn’t Free

soldierpack copyOn every bottle of our “Freedom” Mischief Whiskey you’ll find a dog tag with the name of a wounded or fallen soldier, with the war they served in and our heartfelt thanks.   Every dog tag is unique.  We want their sacrifice to always be remembered. For those veterans who have served and for the soldiers still active, we appreciate and honor you.  As our “thank you” for your generous service to this country and communities, 25% of the profits from every bottle is donated to Freedom Is Not Free, a group of Purple Heart Awardees who help family’s of soldiers wounded or killed while in service to our Country.

This is a project very close to our hearts.  For whether or not we support a particular war, we cannot fail to appreciate and feel touched by the sacrifice made by America’s men and women in uniform and that of their families. To make the gift even more personal, Mischief will make custom tags upon request.  Mothers, wives and other family have asked us to make a tag for their son or daughter. Some soldiers ask to carry the names of friends they served with.  These custom tags for our whiskey are available through our tasting room and by request through info@fremontmischief.com

Keeping Children and Families Safe.

The second organization are the local and national domestic violence hotlines.  One way we support our community and neighbors is to give a portion from the sale of Fremont Mischief Vodka to these groups.  We like to say “with great Mischief comes great responsibility”.   In part this means drinking responsibly. But it also means shining a light on a problem in which excessive drinking can be associated with. We feel domestic violence is an important issue; one that needs to be talked about openly and addressed.
