Fremont Music Festival & Festivus
The Fremont Music Festival, at Fremont Mischief Distillery, will take place on Saturday, December 7th from 2pm – 10:30pm
This FREE, all-ages, live music event is a great opportunity to drop in at our neighborhood distillery during your day of Holiday Shopping around Fremont, or just because you need to sample some excellent Mischief spirits!
Schedule:
2:00 – 3:00 PM – School of Rock – Greenwood
3:00 – 4:00 PM – School of Rock – Lynnwood
4:00 – 6:00 PM – Shot in the Dark
6:00 – 7:00 PM – Seattle Video Game Orchestra
9:30- 10:30 PM – The Evanstones
The bands performing range from the most excellent School of Rock House Bands from Greenwood and Lynnwood, opening at 2pm and playing amazing rock classics, to Fremont’s own surf band, The Evanstones, closing the show. We will have Villain Plays The Victim, another local band, playing hard rock with a mature sound. For outrageous fun, and a tremendous emotional sound, the Seattle Video Game Orchestra will play all those tunes you know but have forgotten from your misspent youth.
Festivus Festivities
The Fremont Music Festival is one of several Fremont Festivus activities going on over the weekend of Dec 6th – 8th, and like all Festivus events, it is entirely FREE!
Fremont has 100s of shops, restaurants, nightclubs and entertainments going on and Festivus is the weekend we show our seasonal best!!
On Friday, Dec 6th –
5p – Lenin Lighting as we play ‘traditional’ Festivus games with live music by SeaTown Seattle, Fremont’s own Santa, and the lighting of the statue to celebrate the start of the shopping season!!
6p – Fremont First Friday Art Walk & Holiday Bazaar as many venues stay open late to show art and artisanal items available for your cultural enlightenment and your gift buying needs
On Saturday, Dec 7th –
All Day – The Roamin’ Holiday Bazaar is a bingo-like contest where participants can gather stamps, stickers or signatures on an entry sheet (downloadable) and if they get the minimum number they can be entered to win $200 in gift cards!
On Sunday, Dec 8th –
All Day – The Roamin’ Holiday Bazaar competition continues
10a – 4p – The Fremont Holiday Market offers an additional selection of boutique, flea and artisanal items for sale to expand your seasonal gift buying options
