Martini’s are incredibly simple and deceptively hard to get perfect. Good ingredients is the key and thoughtful preparation. Prechilling your martini glasses in the freezer is a nice touch.
- 2 oz dry vermouth
- 4 oz Mischief Gin
- Lemon Peel
- Olives
Fill shaker 1/2 full with ice.
Swirl vermouth in glass, then pour over ice, swirl and strain out and discard.
Then add gin to shaker and shake vigorously.
Slice off a generous piece of lemon peel and squeeze into glass to release the oils of the lemon into the glass, place in glass.
Strain martini into glass. Add 3 quality pimento stuffed olives.
