Hot Buttered Rum

(Makes 4-5 cocktails)

Ingredients

3/4 cup Mischief Mariner Rum
2 cups boiling water
5 tablespoons unsalted butter – softened
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

Procedures

Use one heaping tablespoon of butter per cocktail or to taste.

Using an electric mixer, beat the brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a medium bowl until blended and smooth.

Add the rum and boiling water. Stir until butter mixture dissolves.
